In The Snake King of the Kalinago, published by Papillote Press, local primary school children from Dominica re-tell a centuries-old Kalinago myth in their own words. As a classroom resource, The Snake King of the Kalinago links with several units in the Primary Literacy Framework, including narrative (Years 1, 2, and 3, Unit 2), stories from other cultures (Year 4, Unit 3), and traditional tales from around the world (Year 5, Unit 2).
