The Achieve network aims to share, stimulate and support good practice and influence policy in:

- tackling the underachievement of some black and minority ethnic pupils
- preparing all pupils to live in a multiethnic and multicultural society
- recruiting, retaining and developing black and minority ethnic teaching staff.

It is for:

- senior managers in schools and school governors
- teachers, LEA advisers and teaching assistants with expertise and responsibility in supporting black and minority ethnic pupils
- black and minority ethnic teachers and teaching assistants.
