The Real Histories Directory

Established in 1990, Actionwork has been providing a wide range of exciting shows and fun workshops all over the UK and abroad. In addition to touring shows and workshops, Actionwork have produced films with young people, and have provided seminars for Anti-Bullying Conferences, training for School Governors, INSET for teachers, support for GCSE students, and creative research for government initiatives.

They specialise in empowerment and peace programmes with young people, including dealing with issues such as bullying, racism, homophobia, and disability. These take the form of active workshops, performance workshops, creative writing, film and video projects. They are often approached to devise brand new pieces of work to promote existing programmes within schools, colleges, universities and various agencies. These can be booked at anytime.
