Aims to

- create and implement programmes for the economic and educational development of the African and Caribbean communities
- promote and facilitate the recruitment, development and advancement of black people in all employment areas
- provide continuous professional development programmes for the membership.

Al&C Diversity also runs a four-year mentoring scheme for talented Year 10 to 14 (ie. 14-19 years old) state school pupils of African and Caribbean descent. The scheme includes a week-long residential Summer School at Cambridge University; matching each pupil with a volunteer mentor; and arranging visits to various organisations.
